So, since the MLB is on pause because of COVID-19 now is the perfect time to predict the MLB season. I think the American League will look like this
AL East
- 1. New York Yankees- 119-43
- 2. Tampa Bay Rays- 87-75
- 3. Toronto Blue Jays- 79-83
- 4. Boston Red Sox- 63-99
- 5. Baltimore Orioles- 43-119
AL Central
- 1. Minnesota Twins-110-52
- 2. Cleveland Indians- 101-61
- 3. Chicago White Sox- 78-84
- 4. Kansas City Royals- 67-95
- 5. Detroit Tigers- 49-113
AL West
- 1. Houston Astros- 108-54
- 2. Oakland Athletics- 96-66
- 3. Los Angeles Angels- 71-91
- 4. Texas Rangers- 62-100
- 5. Seattle Mariners- 54-108
I think the AL will turn out like this because the Yankees, Twins and Astros look the best on paper and the 2 wild card teams the Athletics and the Indians look the best out of some of the other teams. I think the National League will look like this.
NL East
- 1. Atlanta Braves- 114-48
- 2. Washington Nationals- 92-70
- 3. Philadelphia Phillies- 81-81
- 4. New York Mets- 68-94
- 5. Miami Marlins- 32-130
NL Central
- 1. Chicago Cubs- 109-53
- 2. Milwaukee Brewers- 99-63
- 3. St. Louis Cardinals- 82-80
- 4. Cincinnati Reds- 78-84
- 5. Pittsburgh Pirates- 54-108
NL West
- 1. Los Angeles Dodgers- 118-44
- 2. San Diego Padres- 91-71
- 3. Arizona Diamondbacks- 78-84
- 4. Colorado Rockies- 62-100
- 5. San Francisco Giants- 51-111
I think the NL will end up this way because the Dodgers, Braves, and Cubs, got a lot better over the offseason, and the two wild card teams, the Nationals and Brewers are usually good, in seasons and in the postseason
